Behind the Seams
Some things don't fit on a hangtag.
The woman artist in England who painted the peacock that became Violet. The atelier in India where our proprietary pajama fabric was born. The daffodil festival that inspired Voyager's Lens. The Grace Farms afternoon in New Canaan where two friends wrote a business plan and decided, finally, to build the thing they'd always talked about building.
Behind the Seams is where those stories live.
We are Erin and Ronit — co-founders, mothers, devoted lovers of art, travel, and the natural world. We started Timo & Violet because we couldn't find what we were looking for, and we've spent the years since discovering that the search never really ends. There is always another artist, another place, another detail worth getting right.
Here we share the creative friends who inspire us, the places worth traveling to, the founders worth knowing, and the stories behind every collection we make. We are relentless wonderers. And we have a lot to share.
Welcome to Behind the Seams.
Born to wonder and wander.
