In The Artist's Words...

The little sister of Tropical Forest, our Alsatian Forest takes us to an enchanted woodland. Inspired by the decorative arts' tradition of the Chinoiserie, this second part of the Forest diptyque is brimming with life. In this woodland, we wanted to give center stage to the wildlife of those ancient Alsatian forests, the magical landscape of many fairy tales. Behind each tree, branch and spade of grass the wonderful inhabitants of the forest invite you and your child to admire the diversity and richness of their world. Every single element is unique, every detail is there to capture your little wanderer's attention. We chose a very deep and rich palette of colors, one that exudes earthiness and conveys the glory of those ancient woodlands and the importance of their ecosystems.
